Lumma Karima. I saw her in 2006. She was the first lady participating in politics in our region. She broke the cultural barriers and paved the way for other women to join politics. Always an inspiration.

My mother is 65 years old and a patient. When stopped at Turbat, she walked to Tump along with children to attend Banuk Karima Baloch’s funeral. She says she won’t allow army rule on her land and will not hesitate to sacrifice to defend her land.
Human beings in search of water for their survival. People are dying due to cholera because of not having clean drinking water. Remember, Pirkoh has one of the largest natural gas reserves in Balochistan.

Killing of Maliknaz by a death squad 2 years ago today in Turbat proved to be a turning point in recent history of Baloch protest movement. Balochistan had remained silent for years due to the fear created by the State. The JusticeForBramsh rallies broke that silence 🧵
Cousin Syed Bibi speaking out against Hayat Baloch’s killing.
A widow at 31 after husband died in road accident, she raises 3 kids alone & doesn’t give a toss abt our society’s restrictions. Here she’s challenging the death squads.
A true leader. Proud

My mother was once a regular participatant in protests & rallies. Then things changed. Perhaps, she didn’t have a platform. Used to say at home. “Allah Balochistan a Azaad bekanaat”.
Today she got to take part. Seeing Protestor Razia again makes me proud. God Bless you Mom 🌹
“Hayat was killed because he was a Student? Or a Baloch? What was his crime?”

Gazzain is a humble friend and a talented student. His abduction from Quetta last night is very disturbing. He does not deserve this. I request to all parties to raise voice to protect our friend.

The symbol of bravery, courage and love. Your struggle for the Baloch nation is unparalleled and will always be remembered. Thanks for existing

It was a long ago when we met last time. I was planning to visit Canada to see you this summer. We will talk, ride bike, visit different places and libraries, cook together, laugh together. I wasn’t so fortunate to see this happen.
I can’t share those pictures of Hayaat’s mother crying on his dead body. This is heartbreaking. The single picture describes the overall situations of Balochistan. Curse be upon those who did this.

Thank you Banuk for enriching us with a firm ideology of free Balochistan. You fought with darkness like a lamp, and this fight will continue till the end. Remembered forever.

Balochistan’s future on roads. Students are the enlightened members of a society who build nations and contribute to humanity but we are forced to sleep on roads because of illogical decisions made by selected parliamentarians.
Habiba Baloch was released on Saturday, Noor Jan has been granted bail today. This shows the power of speaking out. Credit to all who raised voice.

Syed Bibi, my cousin, addressing the protest today in Turbat. I first saw her speaking out when Dr Haneef Shareef was abducted. I was impressed by her. Today, saw her again. Feeling proud, and impressed even more. Lots of love for my sisters.

What’s wrong in appreciating
@ImaanZHazir
for her tireless efforts for d protection of Baloch rights. She has been a strong voice for Baloch missing persons & been campaigning in Islamabad, the capital where many so called nationalists are sitting who never dare to report d story
This kid is so close to my heart. I always wished for her missing father’s return so that she could go to school and live her childhood. Today, she found her father, dead, the body decomposed. My heart bleeds for her.

. The story is based on those journalists who lost their lives in search of and speaking the truth.
I wish no system, no structure, no dominance would ever snatch these beautiful smiles. May they see the sunrise of equality, prosperity and independence in their lives.
Shabir Baloch was abducted on 4 October 2016 from Gwarkup, Turbat. His wife Zareena has been campaigning for his safe release since then. She has herself been taken away today in Karachi. The state is not sparing the wives and family members of missing persons.
