We do a lot of right in Ireland, today has shown that, but in Ballyogan tonight, there are parents who have brought their kids out to scream abuse at International Protection Applicants as they try to enter their accommodation… we can’t ignore that fact. There’s more to be done

When my sister was spiked, the club that she was at kicked her out because even though there was clearly something wrong with her, they didn’t want to deal with it. Her heart stopped when the paramedics arrived to her flat later that night. We never caught who did this to her

It was one of the most heinous things & we’re so incredibly lucky that my sister is alive. There needs to be more serious repercussions for those caught spiking a drink / needle spiking. Because you never know how someone will react to the substance, it could very well kill them
