@WTFAnthro A syllabus is limited, you can’t include everything. Citations/bibliographies are limited, you can’t read/engage everyone. Not citing or teaching abusers is not “cancellation,” it’s about choosing how to build a lineage & that is both an ethical & intellectual choice (IMHO)

@tressiemcphd YES. I'm not sure if it's helpful, but I'm designing courses with 3 modules, each with 3 weeks of asynchronous/synchronous meetings/activities/readings, followed by a week of no class meetings for students to pause & write reflection papers. It gives us all much-needed breaks...

2. Our college/university campuses are actively supporting the training of US college students as a mouthpiece for a foreign govt. Many campus Hillel's hire former Israeli soldiers ("Israel Fellows") to encourage Jewish students to spend time in the region/serve in the military.
