Splash Mountain is a great attraction, nobody can deny that. I was born in the 80’s and had no point of reference for the source material, but it didn’t matter either way. The ride length, animatronics, and thrill made it a unique combo. There’s nothing wrong with missing it.

When I was a kid, my parents took me Disneyland while the Disney Afternoon event was going on. I remember specifically imagining Scrooge’s money bin would be there and I could dive in. My parents, for some reason, didn’t take me to ANY of the special offerings. I’m still hurt.
