@DiceyJune
The engineers has no opinions on the Predators because they still havent figured out that its a bunch of invisible assholes that causes eggs to float away into the distance occasionaly.
Preferring to stick on the side of "let's just uhh wait this out", I went and checked the Steam reviews and saw that it was overwhelmingly positive.
Then I scroll down a bit more
Then I find positive reviews that are from people with 0.1hrs of gameplay. And 0.2, 0.5 etc etc.
Black Myth: Wukong feels like this generation's Ocarina of Time, and you can't argue with that. Finally, the "adult Dark Souls" we've been waiting for all these years.
i generally think people who put this much value on "good" appearance, especially in the context of feeling empathy, cannot be trusted as their allegiance to you will only last exactly up to and not a moment more until someone more "good" looking than you arrive.
Do you think... that this whole attitude towards just learning about things and understanding the below-surface level ideas being considered "uncool" and "snob" is maybe a political stance in itself?
for the occasion, compiled an easy-to-ready, not-as-meme-y summary of all the factions that any new people might take an interest in.
includes specialty/quirks with accompanying images of the minis
note: did not include factions with no army specific minis.
Titus makes his way from the video game screen to the tabletop!

I don't see ork fans posting WAAAAAGH on my non-ork posts
I dont see eldar fans calling me a monkeigh on my whatever posts
Imperium "fans" though. Huh. I'm sure I don't need to elaborate. We've all seen that shit.
This is the other thing that sucks about chudhammer: they're actually legitimately rude and hostile to Xenos and Chaos players. Like everyone does some light-hearted ribbing to their friend who plays Tau, but chuds view collecting Slaneesh daemons as a sign of actual degeneracy
If it was guaranteed 100% safe, would you cyborg yourself out? Imbedded chips, metal arms, virtual eyes, etc?
I think I would. Curious if I’m in the minority or not.
There are some fantasy races that are simply evil by design. Trying to change that now is impossible bc this was established centuries ago.
40K understands this simple concept. Can u imagine a friendly Drukhari or Tyranid? I can barely imagine a half-decent ork.
Forgetting the stories about monkeys tearing off their fingers and whatnot.
Just structurally. I would not just replace a part of a thing that has evolved to be super hard just to protect THE most important organ in my body, with a little round disk that doesn't even sit flush.
The Daemonculaba isn't scary. Nor does it show just how brutal and grimdark 40k is. It's just a cheap shock value gross-out that pales in comparison to just about any truly masterful example of literary horror you could cite.
Comments like this are like. Genuinely baffling to me.
"Just wanna shoot things". And ignore the "politics" that make up like 90% of the charm and humor of the game?
You actively want to enjoy only 10% of a thing of you paid good money for?
Funny to bring up God when 40k Emp explicitly tried to kill off all religion. There's a book literally titled "The Last Church". And the idea of God(Christian) is probably "in the dusts of forgotten history"
seems like we are getting both AOS and old WTOW (whfantasy)
AOS. clean slate, the designers get to do whatever the fuck they want and make weird shit
WTOW. preestablished lore. a chance to give old designs the benefits of modern manufacturing methods and also old models return
When you totally love STALKER but only after you install a thousand HD M-LOK MK18 delta SOCOM operator Recce rifle mod packs so you can replace those lame SEVA suits with the latest model of Crye Cumsocks.
remembering the time watching that warhammer cinematic(dont remember if it was official or fanmade) with the titans and the tau
and then the big tau aircraft shows up. and it moves. and shoots. and it just hovers there, waiting for the titan to shoot.
...like the tabletop
A mission deep in a jungle that's trying to kill them? A walk in the park for the warriors of Catachan!

Once again I decided to paint all grains of sand on the base separately, and then glazed them a bit for deeper shadows. I personally really like the effect that I got 🙂
Someone asked me what i thought of the game. I havent played it.
But.
Despite the overwhelmingly hyped opinions from everyone, I've seen 1 vid of it on my TL. And it was sepia as fuck. And reminded me of the famous beach fight scene from Marvel's Eternals.
In case you missed it, bits of the brain implant have broken loose and are floating around in the dude's brain.
They think it's because the surgery introduced AIR into the dude's BRAIN.
I'm sure it'll be fine.
I think GW lost the idea of what makes collection boxes so neat
- 1 big model
- Some troops
- An OPish character that had some weight on the battlefield
Not sure how we got here
we had warhammer fantasy. but then... they made warhammer 40k? which is just warhammer but scifi?
science fiction?
and who wrote one of the earliest science fiction novel?
mary shelley!
A WOMAN!?!
THE WOKE MOB STRIKES AGAIN!!!!
Who can honestly say if this is or isnt some sort of trademark violation. It's a legal matter. We need the power of the court to hash that out.
What we don't need the court to hash out is that making "I killz da furries haha" in the year 2024 is deeply embarrassing.
looooool those absolute COWARDS in Australia took down our Bluey parody with no right to appeal. In fairness who can possibly tell that this is a parody🥴
Greetings, Guardsman! We have good news – you're being sent to the front, and we're letting you choose your weapon.
Do you want the bayonet or the volcano cannon?

Woah. If only there was a system... where we were simply given the per model cost. Then we might have worked out what 7 models cost...
What a conundrum

as a note. "good" here includes goes further than just "good looking" as in being handsome or beautiful. as that is a personal and biased judgement made on that persons's cultural standard of beauty.
naturally, anything foreign or strange falls outside of that cultural standard
i dont think ive ever seen pink camo. so i tried it on my go to mini for camo schemes.
wouldnt it be really funny if people in real life did pink camo? that would be so funny.
The environment where the action occurs is dead flat. The character swooshes around in high speed and throws uncountable hits. And then each hit do like 5% dmg on some random small guy. And the small guy has no answer and just stands there, plays the "get hit" animation
yo
@40KTheories
, its 12am and i need this terrible question answered. on chogoris, the planet where everybody is a horse rider, did the Khan ride horses? if so were there VERY BIG primarch-sized horses for him to ride on? OR did he go into battle like this?
i know the whole gun+helmet is definitely a visual thing in our world.
but i have a suspicion that doing this in 40k world will get someone executed for mis-use of minitorum assets.
The year is 2024 and people are still equating Tau "greater good" as "communist"
Like. Wtf do yall think the American propaganda of "fighting for democracy" is.
But then again. Thats 1 vid.
Maybe the game is actually good. Or maybe the game is actually bad. Who knows. I certainly don't. Cos I don't see any gameplay.
I do see the some of the culture war grifters come out of the woodwork to praise it(but not post gameplay) So... I dunno
