I've been seeing rips of Tangle and Whisper from Sonic Dash, but they're unrigged. Ive ripped them with their rigs and animations and am releasing them for all to use!
After over 5 years of release, and after the 10th anniversary, the source code for Sonic World Release 9 is available and documented!

and the assistance from several SA2 modders, Silver has now been released! He goes over Metal Sonic, so he doesn't go over any of the other hedgehogs.
My biggest pet peeve with Heroes controls is wall sliding.
If you hit a wall but don't go exactly 90 degrees towards it, you get turned to face parallel to the wall, making the player feel slippery.
Most of the complaints about slippery controls probably stem from this issue.
This stage creator is surprisingly handy to use. Tried out one of my rips for Seaside Course and it worked really well. Can't wait to see what others make!

I could speculate the optimal Sonic game and if I was on 4-chan, it would be classified as a leak. So You guys heard of Rift and Sonic 5? theyre fake.
The real leak is a 2d/3d hybrid, with the 2D sections being exactly like the odyssey 8 bit pipes, look i even got a logo!!!

I helped out on this project! I did the models for the menu (Sonic Advance 1 and 2 being modified Sonic 1 and 2 origins islands), as well as the advance 3 menu and the logo! I can't wait till you guys get to enjoy this collection (NOTE you'll need your own .gba files to play)

Started working on menus for the Sonic fan-game I'm working on!
Since it's going to support custom levels, the stage select automatically detects level files and adds them to the list.

With Godot 4.2, I got the game compiling and running on Android!
A few optimizations are needed as touch screen controls need to be added and the stage system needs changing, but this and Linux should be supported by my fangame!

Making it multiplayer. Seems any game with cool alts have them for multiplayer.
Considering we havent had a proper multiplayer 3d Sonic since like lost world, that'd be the key.
The code was originally leaked after 2018 without any information about how to use it.
Now that this version is older, we decided to document it so anyone can use it!
You just need to know how to code in BlitzBasic (a simple but old language).

Since a lot of fan projects lack Egg Hammer's, I've decided to modify and rig the one from Team Sonic Racing for all to use!
Texture maps behave similarly to Forces models (mis texture is the same as prm)

Since i wanted to teach porting mods for Sonic World DX, I ported over my Cel Shaded Z Sonic.
Unfortunately, the old 2017 materials looked shoddy so I overhauled the mod with a new artstyle available for the latest version!

I made the image! During a World Anniversary stream, the concept of an Eggman Forklift boss was mentioned by name. I thought the idea was so mundane, i'd make it an image using the sa2 eggman model and a random forklift on models resource.

I always wanted to do justice to Heroes. I'm excited to collaborate again with Beatz and now ChaosX to make it happen!
I'm handling most of the asset ripping and conversion for the project, to streamline workflow.
Why make this? Two reasons.
1. I want to learn more of Unity and Blitz3d skills are not the most employable set of skills haha
2. Everyone including me as a dev knows Blitz3D is a dated engine that inhibits Sonic World. We only stuck with it as we didn't have the skills for Unity

I think the blue arms looking good depends on whether or not he has shoulders.
Modern and boom Sonic don't really got shoulders but sockets, so the blue arms look a bit off in boom,
but Movie and kinda Prime Sonic have shoulders so blue looks better.
Because of this I often dabble in minor side-projects. A notable one that sparked this is my P-06 mods.
I made a script to simply load level .xml files from Sonic World, and made the tool public for P-06, also porting Seaside Hill and Worst Cave to the game.

the Advance trilogy have a practically non-existant hacking scene and is not our specialty, so unfortunately that's not part of the scope of the project. 60fps and 24 pixels at both sides of the screen isnt possible

With this tool, it could lighten the burden of at least porting whole stages with the tool, but I have no knowledge of Sonic's physics, so I had to choose a framework.
Unity had the most options of any thankfully and I opted to go with Pinball
For grinding, I opted to make Sonic not the main character of the demo. Tails' flight was simple-ish to add in as Sonic edit, and allowed me to be able to beat a level that previously relied on rails for progression. I also animated Tails for DX so didn't need permission for him.

Emulations with bonus features. Two people doing 3 whole remasters is not on the table, so itll be emulation with a few quality of life improvements such as save states and a gallery
This seemed to be the most optimised, unlike Bumper and didn't have a stigma like HedgePhysics. The codebase was also more modular and readable, which was handy for me. The biggest downside was lacking actions like grinding and enemy behavior. For that I had to make solutions.
For enemies, since it was a proof of concept, i salvaged code from another engine by lurodsil: Ring engine. I ended up copying and slightly modifying enemy code from this to work in HedgePlus, making behaviors for the GUN enemies and Egg Pawns.
The enemy and player edits took the most time, though this was a result of on and off chipping away in a few weeks. As a feasibility test on how feasible itd be to port myself. With how basic and bugged this is, I'll definitely need help for this project to come into fruition
Especially since outside of assets, this is NOTHING LIKE WORLD.
Scope of a project that would be closer to World would be:
- A Team/Pair Amigo System
- A modular character system with a skill button for melee/ranged attacks
- An alternate mission/act system
- World object support

Id suggest on remaking the snes episodes first. I'm sure mario and zelda 64 both have a lot yet to uncover, as theyre just hot off the plate.
Nearly done the map! Way more fleshed out now with vertex alphas and the ability to grind along the siderails. Just need to add power type obstacles before declaring the stage complete!

Depending on your plans with cutscenes, this should be in-game somehow. Maybe compressed versions of the renders to be viewable through the theater room option?
Whats' mad is that not only does modern games ALREADYhave a fix bone, but the Olympic side-series does the same thing and it works perfectly fine.
It's either bad rigging or an intentional design choice and either way it is super confusing (this ones from the 2016/2020 Olympics)

Nah this is straight up wrong my g, it can be done with an extremely simple elbow helper bone setup. Tri count doesn’t matter.
SA2 had this in 2001 (still peak sonic model btw) and I use the exact same technique in my own model.

Please don't request a large list, especially an entire games worth of levels.
