Wearing my customary FFP2 mask, I walked into a room of unmasked people today. “I don’t like your mask,” one person told me. “It makes me feel like we’re in the plague.” Funny, that.

A couple of weeks ago, we spotted some water dripping through the kitchen ceiling. We did the natural thing and phoned a plumber to check for leaks in the bathroom up above. He couldn’t find anything, so he went away. (1/)

Very thankful for the @NHSGrampian paediatrician who thought to test my (then) 2 year-old son for #Coeliac Disease when he had 5 weeks of vomiting, 10 % weight loss and wanted to lie on the couch all day. Prompt diagnosis saved the day. Five years later, he’s doing great.

If only pw #PostVacSyndrome had been listened to and believed from the start, we’d be a lot further ahead by now. Now… We need to acknowledge openly that vaccine reactions exist. We need to listen to those who suffer; we need to research and identify treatments. (4/5)

This paper by @doctorasadkhan and others reports on 91 people with Long Covid who were treated with anticoagulation and antiplatelets. Note that this was not a randomised controlled trial; further work is needed to quantify risk of adverse events.
