8 inches of snow on ground, most in Wichita since 2014. Almost canceled services due to road conditions. Only a third of our regular church attendance, but a man we've never seen before gave his life to Christ when the invitation was given. That made it worth it all!

A young man just walked in my office & said he'd never been in a church but someone had given him a Bible & he read the Old Testament and the Gospels & wanted to know what he needed to do next. I'm thankful to say I've got a new brother in Christ!!!!

I just found out the church where I have served for 2.5 years has an extra 3,000 sq. footage of rooms I have never seen. And its complete with a kitchen and fridge full of cokes that expired several years ago.

It's going to be an awesome day at @ibcwichita in the morning. The church has never had a day without debt in the past 60 years due to continuous expansion. One month ago we raised over $98,000 on a single Sunday and completely paid off our debt. Tomorrow we are burning the note!

Dug out my old notebook from @tbeougher 's evangelism class. The first day of class I wrote 10 names in a margin of folks I would witness to. Within a year, half of them professed faith. I just put this together today, 12 yrs later. The fields are white unto harvest!

Great morning at @ibcwichita - 16 people baptized (baptisms done in 2 languages!) and a young lady made a profession of faith. Because Christ came we get to be part of a Kingdom of people from every nation, tribe, and tongue!

My 6 year old son got out of his bed tonight with tears in his eyes and said, "Daddy, I told Jesus I'm sorry for my sins and asked Him to forgive me." I'm so thankful for such a great Savior who so graciously extends salvation to EVERYONE who comes in faith!

A great morning at church. 5 baptisms & this 17 yr old surrendered to gospel ministry. God continues to do the incredible at @ibcwichita . This year we've celebrated 79 new members, 45 by baptism, adopted an unreached people group, & retired a 60 year debt. God is so good!

Evangelism should include 1) Intercession- praying for God to save a lost person; 2) Information- sharing the good news that Jesus died & rose again to forgive & transform them; 3) Invitation- we must invite individuals to believe the good news.

This morning I attended a naturalization ceremony for a brother at our church. The judge, speaking of freedom, said "Liberty is not the freedom to do whatever you want. Liberty is the freedom to do what's right." I wanted to shout "Amen!!"

Yesterday @ibcwichita voted to adopt an Unreached, Unengaged People Group in India identified by @IMB_SBC . We are also celebrating 3 college students who are engaging in overseas missions this summer. I'm praying God will raise up some full-time missionaries out of church!

I've never experienced a genuine revival but I think God may be starting one here @ibcwichita . 3 incredible things have happened today. This afternoon a woman who immigrated from Pakistan called & said Jesus appeared to her in a dream & told her to renounce Islam & be baptized!

Just as the Spirit's work on Pentecost was evidence that Jesus is alive, what happened at @ibcwichita is further confirmation. 5 adult baptisms as well as multiple decisions for Christ & multiple people joined the church. Not to mention 15 professions of faith on Saturday!
