We are trying to raise a few quid for
@SmallStepsTweet
who helped Timothy so much before he started school. Also more behind what he has been through in his life
Yesterday my 2nd son was born and everything was fine for 2 hours until it wasn’t and he basically died. Amazingly thanks to the wonderful nhs staff they got his heart going again. He’s still very very sick but he’s been given a chance and that’s all we can ask at this stage
John Hunt is one of the nicest people I’ve met in the racing industry and has been great with my sons allowing them into the commentary box when we’ve been racing. For this to happen to someone like him is beyond words. My heart goes out to him and his family
Let’s correct this. Ben was stupid enough to run onto the track whilst the race was running which wasn’t going to prevent anything as the race had started. That also meant he broke the law and thus is getting what he deserves. However we are still going to beg for donations
⚠️UPDATE: Ben has been remanded to prison until the 6th of July.
As an animal lover, Ben stood up on Saturday to try and prevent horses being harmed and to continue the crucial public conversation about our broken relationship with animals and nature. For those acts, he has been
3 years ago today this little man entered the world and 2 hours later he was fighting for his life. We never thought we would get him home but 3 years later he’s continuing to make progress and is such a happy little boy
If you had a £7.50 e/w single on Valliant Force that pays £1350 so he's cashed out his double for £500 less than he would have won if he had done the single.
At the start of the season I did one of those ante-post football bets looking for a huge payout but usually got nowhere near. This year though I have a bet with 5 of the 7 division winners in and if Fylde can win the National League North on Saturday I am looking at over £17k
More interested in uploading content than actually watching the whole race and then is so desperate to go crazy when she wins he doesn’t even notice she isn’t going to win. Cringe worthy stuff
We’ve been told today that there is a 90% chance he is going to be completely fine which from where we’ve come from in less than a week is astonishing. Still an mri scan to come on Friday so we aren’t quite there yet but he already looks like he’s had enough of hospital!
So not only have Fylde won the title to land me £15k my own team
@GCAFCofficial
have come from 3-1 down to win 4-3 and make the play-offs. What a day!!!
RIP Graeme. A wonderful man who clearly knew his stuff. He was brutally honest about his illness on here and it was amazing how well he dealt with it. I'm sure Denise and your daughters are very proud.
Peacefully, on May 25th at 7.05pm, after a determined and dignified journey following a metastatic bowel cancer diagnosis. Graeme Dand, devoted Husband to Denise and Dad to Sofia, Olivia and Jude, passed surrounded by his closest loved ones.🤍🏇
Thought this last paragraph in The Sunday Times yesterday about Oasis was very interesting. I reckon Noel has been eyeing up 2025 for years based on that info
I’ve not added to this thread in over 3 years but thought it was apt today to add this picture of Timothy on what is his first day at school. He’s achieved so much in his 4 years despite his disabilities and amazingly it’s time to send him off to school already
So this little lad is now 6 months old and he’s a very happy little boy. We still don’t know what’s wrong with him and sadly his neck is not strong enough for him to hold his head up yet. Hopefully we will find out more in 2020. Here he is with his brother
Wow I just can’t believe it. An incredible performance from
@chorleyfc
. 18/1 football winners don’t exactly come around very often and it’s the biggest winning football tip I’ve ever put up
So after much thought and consideration I decided last night to cash out one of the bets which means if Kings Lynn win the league I win £7k and if Fylde win the league I win £15k. I’m happy with those figures and hopefully Fylde can finish the job off later today
At the start of the season I did one of those ante-post football bets looking for a huge payout but usually got nowhere near. This year though I have a bet with 5 of the 7 division winners in and if Fylde can win the National League North on Saturday I am looking at over £17k
My 3yo son picked number 1 in that race at Wolverhampton. When it loses he throws his head back hands on his head and then says oh fucking hell! No idea where he got that from 😂😂😂
The fact that Bath card on Sunday is a Premier Racing card just highlights how shit the idea is. How on earth could a card featuring 3 class 5 races be deemed as Premier Racing? You are putting it on the same level as Royal Ascot
Some great words from Steve Palmer in Saturdays Racing Post. Really annoys me that people don’t accept that gambling can be fun and enjoyable for the vast majority of people
Here is my Non-League Ante-Post preview covering all 7 leagues from Steps 1-3. Hopefully plenty of money to be made once again and I am sure I have added plenty of talking points. Over 5500 words and I hope everyone enjoys the read
5 years ago today this little guy had a rather traumatic entrance to the world but thankfully he survived. The fact he is making so much progress despite his disabilities is incredible and he’s such a happy little boy
I have some very good news as on Monday Timothy finally came home. From the situation he was in back on June 12th to what we have now is amazing and I can hardly believe it to be honest. We will be forever greatful to the NHS staff at Kings Collage for their amazing work in
making sure we had a baby to take home as it was a big price for that to happen at one stage. Thank you to everyone who has messaged me along the way it has meant a lot and has kept us going especially in the very tough early days
Would be great if every Saturday afternoon went as smoothly as that. Gloucester easily cover both handicaps in a 6-1 victory, Oxford won 4-0 and Needham Market won 3-0 to make it 4/4 winning bets on the non league bets
So here it is! Around 4500 words on this year's Cheltenham Hunter Chase. It is the most in-depth preview that you will find and hopefully it will be helpful when having a bet on the race on Friday.
My in-depth preview to this year's Cheltenham Festival Hunter Chase is now up at the bottom of the this years thread. It clocks in at over 4800 words this year and hopefully it is an informative guide to the race
10 years ago at this meeting I had 6/7 winners and incredible to have repeated the feat and we can add It’s on the line as well. Thanks for all the messages and enjoy your winnings because it isn’t always as good as this.
Here is the
@CheltenhamRaces
hunter chase night preview. Every horse covered with the leading contenders for the big one at Punchestown covered as well. Hope it helps and hope its profitable!
I keep expecting this good run to end but 4/5 of five on the non league front today with Chesterfield, Altrincham, Havant and Marine all winning to make it another very profitable afternoon
Truly touched by all the messages of support not just from people I know or follow me but those who don’t and have just seen the tweet. It means a lot and although impossible to reply to everyone I’ve read them all and it’s very comforting so many are thinking of him
7 Leagues, over 5000 words and 25 bets. That's the stats for my Non-League Ante-Post preview this year. Hopefully plenty of winners and profit among them
May as well answer this to everyone. He’s making small improvements but ultimately it’s what has happened to his brain that is key and we will know more on Monday when they can do more tests. Hopefully he will keep progressing up until then
4 years today since this little guy made a rather dramatic arrival. So lucky to have him in our lives given we didn’t think we’d be leaving hospital with him
What a day for my FA Cup bets. Out of the original 6 singles I put up 5 of them one. Of course the ones that lost we the ones I put 2pts on! Still 15/8, 5/2, 19/5, 13/2 and 31/10 winners to give us a huge profit on the day
Just the 3000 words this time for my Aintree Foxhunters’ preview and the most in-depth one you will find. Would be great to land the Cheltenham/Aintree double
Been a few days since I updated this thread. He's doing pretty well at the moment and there is even talk that he might be able to come home at some point next week although he will still have a feeding tube in as he is a bit hit and miss when feeding from his mum
After spending most of today writing it here is my in-depth preview for the Chelteham Foxhunter. Final thoughts will added to the preview later in the week and it clocks in at around 4000 words
Nothing will top this result all season. James Rowe apparently offering fans out in the car park as well and I wouldn’t want to be a Fylde player in that changing room tonight as he might be biting some noses off!
6 years ago today I was sat in a hospital chair next to my wife on the maternity ward trying to do the form for Cheltenham hunter chase night all because this little man decided to make an early appearance! Good job he loves horse racing!
@BritsPieces
Oasis chose to have dynamic pricing and they aren't going to go back on that though. It was clearly a money making exercise and this just backs it up
Non-League Football stats for November saw 61pts staked and 33.26pts profit. Current season stats has seen 142.5pts staked for 132.59pts profit after last nights games
@RSPCA_official
we had one of your staff come and help free this 🦉 who ended up in our house this morning. She said she had never seen an🦉in a house in 10 years of work
@tricyclemayor
That’s truly shocking. My 4yo son has had a feeding tube in everyday of his life and I’m so glad he has it in otherwise I wouldn’t have him in my life
I have had messages like this from all over the world and once again I can’t thank you all enough. To even take a small amount of time to write a message or like the tweet means a lot and I’m genuinely shocked by how much response it’s had
@DarranPearce
From us here in New Zealand - we send you and your family our huge embrace - there are thousands and thousands of beating hearts around the world holding you close for this wee man - with your love and the incredible care your little man is receiving he will be able to fight x
Here is the
@CheltenhamRaces
hunter chase night preview. Every horse covered with the leading contenders for the big one at Punchestown covered as well. Hope it helps and hope its profitable!
This is fascinating on what they are doing in Australia to make their fences as safe as possible. Also interesting to note that originally they thought the smaller the fences the safer it would be, but they realised that wasn't the case and they needed to be taller
I will never ever forget that the quick action of drs and nurses as well as medicine saved Timothy’s life two years ago today. Last year we couldn’t celebrate probably because of lockdown but today we have been able to have a little picnic party for him.
For Timothy's first birthday we have decided we would like to raise money for
@IcklePickles
as equipment they provided kept him alive 12 months ago and without it we wouldn't have him. Money raised will go to help other sick new born babies survive
First winner for
@PFNicholls
daughter Olive as she gets Virak back up on the run in to beat Doc Carver who came from miles back and looksnowtlikebrian was 3rd
It is
@CheltenhamRaces
Hunter Chase night and as always I make my preview on the card free to view. Every horse is covered and hopefully it will help you back a few winners on the card
Regular followers of my non league stuff will know I love finding big price winners of the final day of the season and Barnet have won at odds of 6/1. Solihull also won at a decent price to make it a very profitable final afternoon
Stop what you're doing, you need to see this...
After dismounting early on Des De Jeu, Aaron Kuru quickly gets back in the saddle and rides the race of his life. Unbelievable 😲😲😲
Solihull Moors have gone joint top of the National League tonight. Biggest price they have ever been was 150/1 they are now as short as 9/2. Will be the equivalent of Leicester winning the PL if they win the title for me
I finished writing my Non-League ante post football preview last night and will put it live late afternoon/early evening. Clocks in at over 5500 words and there is a total of 41 points staked across the 7 divisions
When I told people what my job was when I used to work on the racing pages for Ceefax people would ask if I knew John McCririck which shows that non racing people knew who he was. Grew up watching him on Channel 4 and he really was a one off. RIP Big Mac
If you didn’t think this guy was a tosser before this then he’s proved it tonight. Must be alright earning money from scamming people pretending to be a full time punter
Certainly found my form again in the non league front with another hugely profitable day. Both Dagenham bets were winners and Boreham Wood and Stockport cover their handicaps with ease.
@kevinblake2011
@bbc5live
Glad you spoke over him trying to mention jumps racing in south Australia as that was stopped because they were getting very few runners and hardly any jumps horses were trained in the state. Jumps racing is thriving in Victoria right now
Great theory from
@robbiewilders
except it’s impossible for Its On The Line to win the Cheltenham hunter chase and the Grand National this year. As soon as you run in a hunter chase in the uk you can’t run in a non hunter chase until the season ends
What a night for my non-league tips with 4/5 winning including the two 3/1 tips. Rushall were 2 up then 3-2 down before 2 late goals saw them win 4-3 in the most dramatic game if the night.
Let me rephrase that for you. It appears we were caught out with a lie which we hoped no one would notice, but sadly we were. The horse in the photo actually has cancer which is why he looks the way he does, but we still don't really want to admit that bit
It appears we made a mistake yesterday and had been passed incorrect information about Max (who is actually Thai) who featured in our
#MondayMotivation
post last night. We thought that the horse in the photo was a retiree, rescued from the racing industry, but it turns out they
My in-depth preview to the Aintree Foxhunters' is now up and it features my strongest ever selection for the race. About 2800 words so not as long as the Cheltenham one which some of you might be pleased to read!
1st, 3rd and 5th for the preview and Latenightpass the strongest tip landing the spoils under a typically strong Gina ride. Thanks as ever to those who read the preview and listened to the
@pointingpodcast
Turns out this isn’t actually Max at all and they have tagged the farm in knowing they haven’t tweeted anything since 2019 so clearly it’s an account that doesn’t get used. Their lies and bullshit needs to continue to be highlighted so they can continue to be undermined
Amazingly he has done nothing but improve and he now looks set to leave intensive care to go into special care. We are still waiting to find out about his brain though so we don’t know what we are dealing with, but the rest of him seems fine. They still have no idea why what
I have decided to do a Road To The Cheltenham Foxhunters given it is always one race that gets looked over in those columns. Will get updated regularly and already a fair bit has happened
For Timothy's first birthday we have decided we would like to raise money for
@IcklePickles
as equipment they provided kept him alive 12 months ago and without it we wouldn't have him. Money raised will go to help other sick new born babies survive
This has been written by Graeme Rodway in tomorrow’s
@RacingPost
. How on earth has he missed all the quotes saying he isn’t going for the race? Even more came out earlier in the week
Here is my preview for
@CheltenhamRaces
Hunter Chase night and the big Hunter Chase
@punchestownrace
. Just over 6000 words written and apparently it will take 22 minutes to read so I hope you enjoy reading and hopefully it will be a profitable evening
