@AlpacaAurelius You've never worked on a farm. Definitely never a dairy herd if you're waking up at 5am. You should be up 4am and milking by 5am...unless you want to go bankrupt. Please help out on a farm before posting misleading stuff like this. There's a reason farmers work 10+ hour days.

Sugar is not the enemy In the 90s, EVERYTHING was high sugar. Some cereals were banned because their sugar content was so high! Yet obesity is higher now than back then. Why? People have become lazy and sit around doing nothing. Sugar is not the enemy. Comfort is the enemy.

Train Smarter Say you can lift 50kg for 8 reps + 2 shity concentric reps, but with a smooth negative. You can go to 52.5kg for 4 reps. You can go to 47.5kg for 10 reps. What's best? 50kg...with a spotter, to take away the shitty concentric but keep negatives No spotter?

Shoulder Training Tip If you're using a bit weight on shoulder isolation work e.g. lateral raises, you're probably doing them wrong. The individual shoulder muscles are not super strong. Bare that in mind when you train them, as using awful form means gains will suffer.

Lifting heavy is great. But if you're lifting heavy and for muscle gain, but you're not seeing gains, you're probably not lifting right. Lower the weight, get your form right. You will start making gains. Then you can start increasing the weight...with proper form.

Deadlifting for hypertrophy sucks It focuses on 2 muscle groups: Hams + back. Swap them for RDL + rack pulls If you RDL, you cannot lift as much. So deadlifts under-utilize hams If you rack pull, you can use more weight than you can deadlift. So deadlifts under-work the back.

In the park the other day. Picked both my boys up by the angle and held them in the air, no problem. Eldest boy is 45lbs. Being able to hold them up and carry them around is not so much a privilege. It is a learned ability. Lifting is a skill you build up. Technique & weight.

@CoachFHM Welcome to the "Small weights" club. Small weights are people's perception. When the reality is, with correct form, you have to use a smaller weight. I barely train arms. 2-3 exercises for biceps, once a week. 3 for triceps. Yet they're a similar size to my fat head. 🤣

Bulking, because I have zero desire to step on stage this year. Was going to, but other things came up and plans changed. Nowhere near the size I want to be to cut for a show. So I might as well get that size and step up next year. 😁👍
