Heads up, DC! NWS reports a forecast of rain the next few days w/ multiple rounds of coastal flooding.
Never walk, drive, or swim through flooded roads! Find another route—just 6 inches of fast-moving water can knock you off your feet and 12 inches of water can sweep a car away.
The next few days will continue to feature abundant clouds, drizzle, and rain shower chances. Persistent onshore flow will lead to multiple rounds of coastal flooding.
