Many people around the world don't know that once Jammu had its own script. The script for Dogri was an adapted version of #Takri_script (which has its roots in Sharada family of Brahmi script). #Dogri_script was widely used in #JammuPaintings like the one shown below:

Three Shivlinga or Pindi(s) with a Deity figurine found on River Bed at Village Ujhan Kassian, Block Darhal, District Rajouri of Jammu region (on 17th June 2022) These sculptures came into sight of locals as the water of Darhali river receded due to summers.

Ganpatyar temple in Kashmir is an important temple which is even mentioned in Kalhana's Rajataringini Ahmed Shah Abdali wanted to destroy idol of this temple & so Hindus hid the idol in River Vitasta Later on, under #Dogra rule the idol was retrieved & the Temple was rebuilt

Sorry to say, but this is a fact which no one can deny: For 70 years, It were mainly Dogras and Dogri Sanstha who opposed Urdu imposition by Valley based Muslim leaders Now when Dogri has got official status in JK, then every जना खना wants his own dialect to be official in JK

13th April 1948: On Baisakhi Day, Dogra forces & Indian Army liberated Rajouri from six months of illegal occupation of Pakistan sponsored forces. A function 'Rajouri Vijay Diwas' is held every year in the city to pay tributes to martyrs & recall liberation of Rajouri
