First scene is to show how much of a womanizer Oppenheimer is and the second one is to make the audience feel uncomfortable just like his wife was when imagining that her husband was still had a thing for Jean Tatlock. Been reading American Prometheus and its quite fascinating.

The Batman also came out during a time where some people didn't even go to the theaters because of Covid and it was a 3 hr long movie which probably resulted in less runtimes each theater.

It hit $374 million based on its budget of $135 million so it probably made a good enough profit. The sequels have just been in development hell for the last decade.

I was fine with the way they did it, though the second sex scene came in at such a weird and unexpected time when seeing the movie. Saw all that stuff in IMAX 70mm lmao

Not gonna lie I feel like the more we talk about race, the more segregated the country gets. I thought we wanted to treat everyone equal, not everyone different?

Omg thank you. I have a relative that plans on getting married and states that he and his gf will be ok because they love each other. Dude doesn't even have a job for support and is going through sophomore year of college just hoping things work out well.
