The English localization for #MegaManLegends should be like 99% imported correctly (it's only missing some graphics remapping). It will be distributed as a separate pack, since it depends heavily on audio files for dialog to properly function - weights around 136 MB. #MegaMan

Managed to fix the horrid lag afflicting #SilentHill2 , which was made more evident by my new audio driver because (I know it's gonna sound absurd) it actually uses a lot less CPU computation. WTF is this game.🧞‍♂️

A video works better to show this. Say goodbye to over saturated light and sudden skips in brightness calculations. Basically, they fucked up the GTE code for lighting (NCCS and NCCT) and wrongly ported over to C an assembly function. Great job, Capcom. 🤷‍♂️ #DinoCrisis2

Might add language support to #DinoCrisis2 now that I figured out an easy way to override room text without soft patching the entire data segment. Font is new and everything, pretty much what PlayStation had in that regard, just double the size, supports most latin characters.

Been busy fixing a 20 year old bug on #SilentHill2 for @WhereAllBegins 's Enhanced Edition. Rewrote the entirety of the interface used for streamed audio, which means no more single core affinity required and the audio loop bug is gone. Stay tuned!

Another upcoming feature for next version is advanced blending, which is used for objects or sprites that have forced opaque pixels. Still, this will require some additional fixing because some textures may be broken and don't have proper opaque info. #DinoCrisis2

Managed to restore the animated textures. These were tricky because this port pretty much butchered the code to cache and reload palettes in at least 3 spots, but the other code to update those palettes still silently runs in the stage routines. #MegaManLegends #MegaMan

Sorry for recycling this scene for the update, but it's the one with the most flaws that can be easily caught. Remember how the music is extremely loud on PC and drowns dialog and many sound effects? That's no more, the BGM volume levels are now user defined and are global.

Working on a pack to replace all the SFX with new sound banks that have functional loops. Had to figure out a good way to interpolate samples across loops because some of those are achieved through PlayStation magic, but I'd say the boat engine sounds nice now. #DinoCrisis2

@__silent_ @avrounderscore @ClassicREMods It's a timer obtained via timeGetTime that is used in the function responsible to draw a frame and dictate when it's okay to display. It's an intricately dumb function that easily breaks. The fix specifically removes this line of code to never assign a new WinmainTimer.

Gotta love when youtubers with huge traffic take your patches, pretend it's emulator, and apparently delete some comments mentioning it's PC. I mean, as if you can't tell this is PC due to Original Mode exclusive codes, D3D9 rendering artifacts, and custom videos.
