No wonder Jeff Bezos came for her. I have been wondering what the probabilities are that a man who hardly tweets at all would quote Uju Anya's tweet. She was a sympathizer of the group that raised the big dust on Amazon's treatment of its employees. Wow!

@UjuAnya He shouldn't have brought it to the public. But this brokeshaming isn't it at all. Women are kept all the time by men and we don't hear about it. A "feminist" shouldn't be brokeshaming a man because she believes he's enjoying what other women enjoy all the time.

Apart from IPOB, nobody is speaking about Nnamdi Kanu's unjust incarceration. Not even young Nigerians who should be pissed off at injustice. This is not how a society that will survive functions, a society where everyone looks away because it won't take the yam off their mouths.

We don't talk about it enough. But writing this book and dying almost immediately afterwards is one of thr highlights of Achebe's life. Achebe couldn't have asked for a better time to die, especially seeing how easily he could have died without writing it.

Mazi Nnamdi Kanu was not scared to speak up for his people. He did not mind being called a mad man, or an animal, or even going to prison. He embarked on self-determination fearlessly. He was almost killed, lost both parents. He bounced back and gave us ESN. Greatness. 🙌🏾🙌🏾❤️

How the hell did Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie’s manage to write Half of A Yellow Sun at 29?! She was obsessed about the question of Biafran genocide and turned to her genius in creating arts to pursue that question. Today young Igbo writers are too timid to discuss Biafra. Pathetic.

You talk about PVC, forgetting you can only probably use your PVC by February (7 months time). And then again in the next four years. But the caliphate boys have AK 47s and they use it every day. Do you still need me to tell you how foolish it is to think to PVC is the solution?

After close observation of Igbo people in the Nigerian government, civil service, armed forces, and otelectuals on social media, I came to the near-conclusion that Igbo people in Nigeria are a psychologically defeated people.

It is understandable that some people are pissed at Uju Anya if they don't know the Biafran story. In 1969, Lord Wilson then PM of Britain was shown starving Biafran children and all he could say was do anything possible to get these nigger children off my TV.

Young Igbo people are too slow. We need to fix up. We need to study more history, philosophy, literature and political science. We need to start thinking because there's almost nothing impressive about our crop of young people intellectually.

You cannot wish for the liberation of Africa and be indifferent to self-determination. You are only part of the dishonest status quo. Self-determination is the true path to decolonization.

For the two-million children starved to death, five hundred defenseless men massacred at Asaba, and the numerous damages incurred in Biafra, which the Nigerian government has refused to talk about. We remember. #BiafraHeroesDay2020 #BiafraRemembranceDay #BiafraExit

I had just graduated from Unizik when Obiano was about to run for 2nd term. Overnight they patched that Ifite-Awka road, and it became motorable. Today, he's not running for 3rd term, the road is damaged again. He is not bothered to fix it. Keep voting for them at your own peril.

Rich Igbo men need to upgrade in their thinking. They lack sense or wisdom of how to use their money to impact society. It is not about spraying money in weddings or setting up a faux-foundation to answer "philanthropist". They need to learn to fund cultural institutions.

General Yakubu Gowon is the BIGGEST FOOL in the history of political fools. Deep down, something in his soul must burn, seeing his people become scape goats for the "country" whose unity, he orchestrated a genocide to preserve. What happened to him at NTA today is befitting.

In 1980... James Baldwin, on seeing Chinua Achebe for the first time, lit up and called him, “My brother who I have not seen for four hundred years!” They went ahead to have one of the most illuminating discussions by two black intellectuals Full piece.

Remembering Biafra and doing justice to that memory, no matter how long it takes, is a task that must be done. In memory of 3.5 million children, women and soldier killed in the genocide, we remember.🙏🏾🌅 #Biafraheroesrememberanceday #Biafraremembranceday #Weremember

To hell with your nonsense and sarcastic apology. On the day we commemorate the genocide which took the life of 3.5 million women and children you choose not to offend your Lagos paymasters. Every good society is better off without people like you.

As a writer, you need to become a better reader. And one way to become a better reader is to write and struggle on the craft level. Afterwards you will begin to look out for how other writers pull off what you struggle with. And you will be more attentive.

Emeka Ike might be the devil for all we know, but in a few years time, his son will regret coming out to speak against his father in that way. That boy is st most, 20, and has not yet bitten the forbidden fruit of manhood and he should have not been allowed to appear on the show.
