RIP to David Bordwell, a giant in film studies. His work (particularly on his blog) was arguably the single greatest influence on Every Frame a Painting. The man saw no “high art” or “low art,” just art.
The big lesson I learned is that if someone DMs you and asks if you want to work with David Fincher, you should probably assume it’s a joke. But say yes anyway, just in case.
We’ll be thanking everyone personally over the next few days, but suffice to say that

was the work of many talented folks we loved working with, and hope to work with again.
