The Knife Angel is at last in place on Cathedral Green, Gloucester, for the month of Feb. A thought provoking sculpture containing 100,000 confiscated knives, we hope it will provide a catalyst for our community to reflect on knife violence and seek sustainable solutions.

This documentary is well worth watching and helps explain the threat our dogs face from organised crime. I am absolutely determined to stop these dreadful crimes and very much hope to see some new measures that will soon deliver tougher penalties and deter organised crime.

Thankfully, the Home Secretary has now agreed that we need more flexibility in how the police recruit. The College of Policing has been asked to look at re-introducing a non-degree entry option, should a Chief need it to attract more diverse and representative applicants.

Tewkesbury neighbourhood police have made some impressive arrests recently, solving 65% of their volume crimes last month, tackling house burglaries, vehicle crime, bike theft, shoplifting and anti-social behaviour. Fantastic work!
