@ConceptualJames Fun fact: there used to be ostriches with ther heads in a normal position, i.e. not in the sand. They made abt 50% of the entire ostrich 'population' there. Then they were removed. Talk to me about symbolism! 🤷‍♀️ If your head in not in the sand, you'll be removed 🤷‍♀️

@CompositeGuy_ NKorea is hardly a good example. They do have a nuclear programme and maybe even high literacy rate, but 99% of people are malnourished, if not outright starving and there have been reports abt cannibalism during the famine in 1990s. The situation has hardly improved since then.

@luisbaram I also liked how Guyana's president acted towards the BBC journalist who behaved in such an arrogant, condescending manner. Just his body language is already infuriating enough. Don't they teach them *at least* some basic manners at the BBC?

Kids are going to have to wear "identity badges" in this Canadian school. "Encouraging" segments of the population to wear a badge on their chest sounds vaguely familiar...normalizing segregation in classrooms is dehumanizing and won't end well.
