The Sun Belt is on another level this year. Per the CFB Composite Ratings, 10 of the 14 teams are level with the bottom 6-7 teams of the ACC, Big Ten and Big 12. Sun Belt is the best “G5” conference now, and it’s not debatable.

Chuck Heater was the ONLY reason Marshall was even in any position to win 8 games this year. He was also the ONLY reason Marshall won 10 games Chase's freshman year. Big shoes to fill since he's gone. Our D was incredible under Heater, I'm glad he has the chance to go bigger.

@ThunderCast_Pod 5-7 on the season too. Marshall didn’t win 10 games with Cato until 2013 & 2014, people seem to forget. It’s comical to blame a QB with 300 yards and 4 TD’s who threw 51 passes when the D gave up 48!!! points. Play calling lost this game, not Fancher.

While the offensive PLAY CALLING is still the issue, I think it’s clear Fancher is our QB. 136 yards rushing after a 320 yard passing game proves that point. MU would win by 2-3 TD’s every game if Trickett can get things going on his end. @TheHerdZone
