A team picked to win the C-USA East Division finishes with a blowout loss in the Gasparilla Bowl. So, the Herd finishes 8-5 with no division title, no conference title, and no bowl win. A lot has to be looked at moving forward for this program in a variety of different ways.

Marshall didn’t have a more perfect scenario to play for a C-USA Championship. Wins over FAU, WKU, and LA Tech, but somehow, still found a way to blow it. This has to be one of the worst losses in the Holliday era. Looks like another standard, random bowl game appearance.
