The replies really show how much people hate to see NA achieve something. Had G2 won, no one would be talking about the format. But because NRG mopped the floor with them, suddenly the format is the problem, and it's a huge conversation we have to have.

@lolesports @teamisurus Everyone saying remove LLA... Better idea! Take major regions OUT of playins! Start the minor regions earlier in the year so they finish 4 - 6 weeks before worlds. Host a mini worlds for them, top 4 move on to worlds, keep SEA 1st in grps and VCS in grps. Remove 4th seeds.

3 things makes this win even sweeter. 1. NRG is BETTER than G2. These games weren't just an "off day" for G2. NRG just literally played better. They had better macro. Better hands. Were more proactive. And read the plays better. This wasn't your typical NA EU upset.
