summary of 1-wk of home office with two 3 y-olds: - asked to extend several deadlines - managed 3 out of 8 zoom meetings without kid-interruptions - built several Lego-farms, houses etc. - spent 2-3 hours/day in the forest playing hide and seek - bought no toilet-paper

I also think that parental leave policies should be equal for men and women, or similar to Sweden's model where couples can choose a split that works for them. This isn't "just" a women's issue, even though women are affected disproportionately.

wow - I (mom of two 4yo) hardly manage 40h without pandemic and call it a great week if I manage 25-30h since the pandemic - Think last time I pulled 50+ was as a postdoc in my twenties

Reeling at first line of results: 'we found a decline in total working hours, with the average dropping from 61 h per week pre-pandemic to 54 h'. With 3 kids and working partner how the hell could I pull 10+ hour days even before pandemic?! And I'm not a mum!
