I’m intested in hearing Richmond Police’s suggestions on better identifying journalists during protests. I was wearing a state-issued press ID badge, a high visibility vest and a verbally identified myself as press before being pepper sprayed and assaulted.

@amyinthe8th Yes. I got a ticket for an expired decal one day after expiration in Chesterfield. Had a gun pulled on me during the stop, then got a 20 min lecture on responsibility by the judge after he dismissed 15 tickets for the same violation by white people in front of me with no comment.

This is not true. I was standing next to these armed protesters the entire time that people were inside of the building. The armed individuals were standing across the street up against the building behind the group of media photographers.
