Mom gets nervous posting pics of me bc sheโ€™s worried Iโ€™ll get fat shamed. Since being medicated, Iโ€™ve put on a lot of weight. I walk almost every day, eat a special diet with restricted calorie intake treats, etc. Mom & vet are trying but my meds make it hard. Please be kind.

Please donโ€™t ever get a dog if this is the life you cannot or will not provide. A dog should be part of the family. A dog should live primarily indoors (with exceptions dependent of breed and character) Dogs are not property, they are living beings with feelings.

Brownie suffered another seizure this afternoon. This is the 1st time heโ€™s had them 3 days in a row, even when he suffered the cluster seizures before. I will be calling his vet to discuss increasing his meds or possibly changing them. Please keep sending the love, we need it โค๏ธ

On a walk w Brownie & two older men come up & one says, โ€œhe needs a dietโ€& the other says, โ€œmom feeds you too much.โ€ Comments like these are really hurtful. I know Brownie has been over weight since starting meds; his calories are counted & he gets exercise but meds cause gain.

We are in disbelief :( Woke up this morning to a house just down from us on fire. We know the man that lives there & he has a dachshund as well as other dogs & cats. The people made it out and are at the hospital, and the dogs made it out though one needed help from the firemen.

After almost exactly 3 months with no seizures, Brownie had his worse one yet this morning. I administered Valium and heโ€™s been resting since. This one was the scariest of them all, and not like his others. Will be keeping a close eye on him to see if he needs to go to the vet.

Hello fwends. I am more myself today but still want to mostly sleep. I bugged mom for my breakfast because she was being too slow! So she took that as a good sign. Iโ€™ve spent most of my time on the couch resting these past couple of days. Letโ€™s hope for a good day!!

Just finishing up at the hospital. They wanted to keep him for a couple of days, but my fear is that the stress would trigger more seizures. He has been given meds and am just waiting for some paperwork and meds to go home with.
