@thellytubby Yorubas had agbada before the coming of Islam, so your statement is flawed. Yorubas got in contact with Islam via the Malians circa 14th century. We've been dressing this way before the 14th century. It is also documented that ibos have been imitating Yoruba dress culture.

@lengdrxx Correct Oga is a Yoruba word. Our Brazilian siblings who were sent away in the 1500's still use the word oga till this day to refer to one who's in a top position, i.e boss, master, chief. ibos had contact with Yoruba in 19th century. It's clear as day ibo adopted it from Yoruba
