I've probably posted this before, but
@PaniniAmerica
...this type of stuff is really valuable to us collectors! Please do more "puzzle-piece" pics in the future!
Not sure if anyone would want a more detailed video in the future...but here's a side project I've worked on for a long time. A signed 1968 Topps baseball set. I have 228/598 signed (38%).
I know I already posted this on here, but I talked about it on today's episode and wanted to post it again. I promise I won't be "that guy" going forward 😂
This swapped Kobe keeps resurfacing. Both
@beckettcollect
&
@psacard
missed it.
Currently up for sale (
@goldinco
). They've done a great job of removing altered listings; I anticipate they'll follow suit.
Posting it here 1st for awareness. This card is bound to pop up again.
Remember that night I tried to find Status boxes at midnight and struck out? I wanted a Pursuit parallel bad. I ordered 3 blasters online. First pack. ARE YOU KIDDING ME?
@wkd1223
A couple months ago, a listener reached out to me and said he won this card in a break and wanted me to have it. He sent it to me FREE OF CHARGE from Australia! Thank you so much, Mark! I haven't seen one of these in person before. It looks awesome and I appreciate it!
If I ever buy something from you, you have my permission to send in taped up toploaders. Or ones that have been written on with Sharpie.
Just make sure the card is safe. That's what I'm buying.
This was a big win for the PC. Most of these are locked up in collections. From what someone else has told me, this has been with the original owner since it was pulled. He finally had his card shop post it on eBay for him. Happy to own it!
This LeBron RPA (04/75) has a different patch than it used to. It's currently for sale via
@PWCCmarketplace
. It's also in a
@beckett_grading
slab.
Always remember to "Look closely" and "buy wisely."
If you've had a chance to listen to Ep 234, you heard me talk about thus Reggie Miller card. This is the direct result of a conversation I had with someone at the National and that person went out of his way to help me out. Very excited about this one!
I sent several 1986-87 Fleer checklists to David Stern through the mail to sign. He sent them back signed AND added this card as a bonus. Who knows how many are out there, but I'm happy to own it.
There's a lengthy thread on Blowout titled, "What cards are safe and what aren't? The tank is coming"
The answer is simple. The safest cards are the ones you enjoy collecting. Don't spend more than you're comfortable with.
I hoped to find this at National, but it showed up on eBay first! It had 7 surface grade & I thought there was major scuffing on it. It was on the inner sleeve instead! So happy to add this one to the PC. I never imagined owning a nice Reggie from one of the most iconic sets ever
@darrenrovell
Panini has rookies wear
#88
at the photoshoot to maximize patch material. I talked about this with a former Panini employee. Feel free to retweet or follow up your tweet because many of the replies are misinformed.
@BeisbolCardBlog
Someone actually posted a complete basketball set on Reddit a couple weeks ago. I was stunned. No one else seemed to appreciate it though. I could never find those last 5!
