Boroughmuir High School is a non-denominational secondary school in Edinburgh. It was founded in 1904. Its catchment area is in the south side of the city.

Our bees have been on site for just over a year now and we now have our first batch of honey! Some of our S3 science pupils used the Honey Extractor supplied by our friends at Fountainpark to harvest the liquid gold which will be put into jars before the Christmas break. 🐝🍯
So proud of our wonderful pupils today, especially our S6 team who worked super hard raising funds and sorting donations for our Ukraine appeal. Funds raised currently standing at over £5,500, and over 80 boxes of goods donated to the Ukrainian Club

A little bit of rain wasn't going to stop the Boroughmuir Canoe Club launching today. How lucky we are to have this resource a few metres from our front door!

The end of my first four weeks as new head teacher at Boroughmuir High School marked with the Freshers Fair. Incredible to see the breadth of clubs and activities on offer, and the empowerment of young people in leading them. I feel very privileged to support such a community.

Following success in the Scottish heats, S.5 pupil Jeff competed in the national final of the British Council Mandarin Speaking Competition in London. Jeff came first in the intermediate category, the prize is a week in Beijing! This is a tremendous achievement - well done Jeff!
