What I love about #TheNewsreader as a queer man is the way it portrays, acknowledges, respects and celebrates the diversity of experiences we have. There is no one way to live, no one journey that is more valid. Every character is so complex, riveting and well written, I love it.

Best part of The Newsreader is how the actors use micro expressions. For example, Gerry doesn't even flirt with Dale much, but with only his eyes, Rory Fleck Byrne can convey that Gerry is so down bad for Dale he wants to rip his own face off, but is trying to act chill abt it.
