Uh oh. Pokémon Scarlet/Violet Battle Stadium currently is using the same RNG seed for every battle. This allows us to choose moves to ensure that OHKO moves such as Sheer Cold always hit!

Another great rule change: They have learned from the sudden death dilemma at worlds (Top16) and are now giving the head judges in exceptional situations the right to overwrite a Tie after DGF with a voided game. Basically allowing another full game > sudden death.

Let me put this into perspective. Most TCG league had 0 interest in hosting VG events so far. This was compensated by individual professors hosting VG events outside of leagues. These Professor might no longer do this. You VG scene depends on local leagues adopting VG …🧵

My favourite moment of the IC is my opponent leading Latias + Latios and setting up dragon cheer with their Latias. We trade Latias against Gouging Fire and it is ChienPao Kingambit vs Cap Pikachu und Steel Tera Latios. Then this pikachu does the unthinkable 😳

One thing that’s really outstanding is how Eric and Alex performed super well in Liverpool pre DQ, then had their team finishing Top8 in NA, just for them to further polish it and sweep through Day1 with 7-0 and 7-1 with Eric finishing Top8. Impressive play and team building!

I was surprised by how many players didn't turn off their wireless communication during Turin SPE. All "Live Competition" events use infrared only, so you can turn off wireless communication. RT to save a (battery) life! #PlayPokemon
