1/ Gorki is the first Layer-1 network that enables us to fully validate smart contract transactions concurrently. This is only possible by introducing a new computational model backed by the latest research on process calculus and our own programming language.

2/ With that, we are on the path to linearly scale transaction speed and smart contract execution by only adding validators to the network. With other current blockchains, adding more validators will slow down the entire network.

4/ Partial ordering allows transactions within the blockchain to be processed in parallel, instead of being bound to a strict linear sequence. This means that multiple blocks can be processed simultaneously, vastly improving the throughput of the system.

6/ Concurrent Validation ⚡ Instead of validating blocks one by one, concurrent validation allows multiple blocks to be validated at once. This means that as soon as a block is formed, it can be validated in tandem with other blocks, further speeding up the entire process.

5/ Concurrent Block Creation 🚀 Traditional blockchains process transactions in a serial manner, which can be slow. With concurrent block creation, multiple blocks can be formed at the same time, drastically reducing the waiting time for block confirmation.

In synchronous processes, a task is initiated and is always controlled by the process that started it, so it can become blocked, because it must wait for that task to finish!
