I know I should tweet way more about this, but @SJUHawks_WBB and @novawbb are having tremendous seasons and should be recognized. Nova is nationally ranked and 15-3 with the leading scorer in the country on their roster. SJU is 14-2 and will fight for the A-10’s automatic bid.

St. Joe’s has found their starting center in Harvard transfer Justice Ajogbor. He averaged 8.4 points and 6.5 rebounds in his senior season. Terrific shot blocker, averaging almost 3 blocks per game. Great pickup for a Hawks team that should be at the top of the A-10.

It seems that Villanova Associate HC George Halcovage is going to be the next head coach at Bucknell. Would be curious if he takes any other Big 5 assistants along with him… Villanova seems to have an easy choice for their assistant in former La Salle HC Ashley Howard

Jhamir Brickus has entered the transfer portal, per @VerbalCommits . The four-year La Salle player leaves the Explorers as a 1254 point scorer. One of my favorite Big 5 players ever, wish this La Salle team could have run it back for one more year.

I am very excited for tomorrow. However, I do want to say u I am extremely disappointed the games will be going on simultaneously. For true Big 5 fans, having to pick one of the matchups sucks.

Cathedral Classic is going to be awesome… For those who did not read, Penn-Colgate-Delaware-Hartford will be playing each team once in a three-day span. Doubleheaders everyday at the Palestra Thanksgiving Weekend.

Pretty freaking awesome to see Phil Martelli back in the Palestra today. Michigan is immensely struggling, but it was just great to see Martelli coaching in the city again. One of the best to ever do it in the Palestra.
