I’m realizing that a lot of UMass fans don’t realize how significant of a drop it is moving from the A10 to the MAC. KenPom makes it pretty clear but go look at how many MAC teams have won even a single game in the NCAA tournament over the past two decades. It ain’t great.

At the end of the day, La Salle had a solid year and the program should be eternally grateful for Fran Dunphy. The roster has holes but he got the most out of this team. This has been one of the best seasons in a long time even if they don’t have a post season to show for it.

If you weren’t catching the drift…Rokas Jocius has committed to La Salle. Official announcement should come some time this week. Rokas is a 6-11 center from Lithuania. Very solid rebounder, rim protector, efficient and even has a little bit of a jumper. Great get for Dunphy!

The A10 looks much improved compared to the prior season. Per Torvik, a rating of .6492 is the 2nd highest conference rating since the 2015-2016 season. The only season that’s been higher is the shortened 2020-2021 season.

Tomorrow La Salle will be unveiling their Tom Gola arena renovation plans. The lack of hype leading up to this and lack of communication is concerning. Some fans will be disappointed either way but you'd think if this is a 20M+ dollar renovation you'd hear more

In what world is @HHHardwood overly critical? He puts out some great work for SJU and they’re going to criticize him for being overly critical. FYI, he rarely gives a very negative opinion. I’m willing to bet this is coming from inside the house.

I was told by several people I was being overly critical last night. When in reality I was really just typing statistics. I guess I’ll keep my mouth shut tonight. Because the numbers here…aren’t so good. It’s 43-30 USF. St. Joe’s still hasn’t scored this half.

URI going to have one of the most talented young rosters amongst high mid majors. Their backcourt going to be very good and has experience. However, their frontcourt is a huge question mark. Overall, ton of potential and Archie will figure it out it’s just a matter of when.

Mika Adams-Woods has committed to St. Bonaventure. The Syracuse native was a four year starter at combo guard for Cincinnati, averaging 9 pts. and 3 ast. last season and top 5 in the AAC in assist/turnover ratio. Another very good addition for the Bonnies. Welcome, @_shoey3 !

What a game for La Salle. This team can be very good defensively and can improve offensively. If Drexel is as good as advertised this is a very good win for La Salle and the A10.

I don't think we actually understand how bad Kim English's resume is. Besides the obvious of not winning the A10 or making a tournament. The man had 17 Q3 and Q4 losses in 2 seasons, never won a Q1 game, never recruited an all A10 player, highest finish on KenPom was 113...
