A couple of months ago, I remember endlessly searching for work experience. Now I have not one but two to add to my name, and this is just the beginning. God did โจ
Grateful for another year โจ
I really have a lot of things to be grateful for, last year I had a lot on my plate, just finished school dead broke, laptop got stolen, no job etc..
End of the same year and it all came rolling in
- First gig
- First Job
- First international role
Why should I make a 2 minutes video telling me why I should be hired?
When weโre still going to have an interview if you like my resume or portfolio?
God is ever merciful, someone just contributed immensely towards me getting a new laptop and Iโm so grateful, I donโt even know how to feel. Iโm still trying to gather enough to balance up and get back to designing. Thanks to everyone for their kind words and support as well โค๏ธ
So I tried explaining to someone in church today what I do.
Me: Iโm a designer
Him: So graphic desi-
Me: No product design, I design application and websites
Him: Oh so youโre a web developer
Me: No I design what web developers code.
Explaining what I do to people outside
As my mum would say, your name โToluwaboriโ means despite all,Godโs will will be done, it can only have been God. Super grateful to everyone that contributed, retweeted, liked and said kind words of prayer or support. New laptop meee
My name is Bori a product designer with over 2 years of experience in sectors like web3, eCommerce and ed-tech. I had a lot of fun and most importantly learnt from amazing people

One thing Iโm grateful for is my growth, I might not be posting as much. But thatโs because Iโm doing the work for now, when I have more free time Iโd jump back on designing regularly. Iโm taking this time to also improve and work on my designs in general from the ground up. ๐ซถ๐พ
Just hit 1k views on Behance, for someone that just got active again with design a couple of months back, I know Iโm doing something right. Iโve learnt from almost every designer I know on X personally and that goes to show how amazing they are. Thank you very much everyone โค๏ธ

Every decision from the visual elements to the imagery was backed up by solid research, all done within 48 hours of receiving the task, I plan on putting out as a case study so anyone can learn a thing or two from my process.
Before โ After
UDC was impactful and fun, really lovely matching a lot of beautiful faces to their names. Looking forward to the next
Also Iโll be changing my profile picture very soon, cuz apparently I look different now.

The long-awaited case study drop! In my design journey (not 10+ years yet), I have always aimed to blend aesthetics with functionality, basically crafting converting landing pages. This year, I cracked the code! Presenting to all the eMedic landing page redesign.
The board was impressed with my designs and the fact that I was carrying the team along every step of the way, made a couple of suggestions though. But from start to finish I was able to explain my process and give an accurate progress report. PS: Documentation is key. ๐ค๐พ
Alright! Letโs dive deep into my comprehensive UI/UX documentation process. Big ups to designers like

I asked a lot of questions before I started the project. Feel free to save/ bookmark for later. Letโs begin ๐

Ever wondered how people with visual impairment commuted? The pain, stress and hassle involved? Well
@OsaiteNuel
and I did, and we tried to fix this problem with RideNaija. Here is our submission for

Spent a whole week on Notion documenting my research, taking notes during meetings, carrying out swot analysis and competitor analysis, basically providing solid background for my design decisions and process. Itโs been fun doing UX, next up, sketching and some UIโจ

Still improving and learning everyday, but I started really using these tools (besides figma) this year and Iโve been able to accomplish so much. Excited to see what I do next๐ฅ
In the past 4 months I've been wholly focused on improving my skills as a designer across board. This has led me to take on really exciting challenges some of which include;
โ Building my portfolio on Framer
โ Creating my first 3D model on Spline

Doing a little bit of a re-introduction today.
My name is Toluwabori, a product designer who's in love with 3D, No-code, Motion and Visual designs. Outside design, you can catch me watching anime, gaming, music-ing (I know it's not a word...yet) and reading books. That's me, how
Showing up and being consistent isnโt posting designs daily, or reading ux books and listening to ux podcasts everyday. Itโs just making sure you can tie something meaningful you did to each day.
PS: something meaningful can be rest.
Designed a futuristic poster for Tech Gas Masks! Blending modern typography with traditional Japanese characters was an artistic challenge I loved. I was inspired by

Time really flies, this was during my service year in ilorin, and now Iโm done with nysc and added even more projects to my name. Itโs a beautiful feeling to see youโre moving up in your career, especially if you started from a course not related to design like me. Writing my own

Something I want to be more intentional about moving forward is my design telling a story, from the motion, colors, visual elements, everything, I want the users to follow like theyโre in a storybook of sorts. So help me God, amen ๐๐พโจ
Today, Iโll be sharing handpicked mock-up links from my Instagram saves. Mock-ups serve as a critical intermediary step in the UI/UX design process. They offer clients and stakeholders a tangible glimpse into the design vision before full development. Links ๐๐พ
Typography really defines a lot of stuff when you design, thatโs why whenever I see videos like this I save and search immediately, thought Iโd share here as well.โจ
