My granddad was an avid nazi until his death in the early 90s. He was a small town banker, volunteered in 40 and became a staff sergeant in the Wehrmacht. He was leading a so called "anti partisan" unit at the Eastern Front, participated in the capture of Kiew.

In addition: when the Berlin Eall came down in 1989 my parents woke all the kids. We sat in front of the TV sipping our first Champagne and looking at our parents cry. My father told me that this is the day WWII truly ended. And our European friends made it possible.

All five of us where send abroad multiple times. Learned several languages and where encouraged to travel far and wide. My best friend is a jew from manhattan living in norway. Every time I visit her I cherish the thought of my granddad turning in his grave.

During my childhood I was evacuated four times because somebody found a WWII bomb again. Since then I have been evacuated twice for the same reason. We visited Verdun and Bergen-Belsen in School.

My maternal grandfather was a teacher from Duisburg. When he had to go to war he left his wife, 2 kids, his camera and his library and all hope of survival behind. Surviving 3 years on the Eastern Front he never played music again, never started Photography again. A broken man.

On my very eurofriendly bubble the main fear is that the EU might not be hard enough in the negotiations. People are pretty fed up by the never ending british demands for special treatment.

Thats most important lessons from Holocaust: it started slow and simple. It creeped in on the back of legitimate concerns, camouflaged as measures of protection and security. Dividing the country into us and them it lead to an escalating cycle of division and hatred. #Remember

Indeed. Its a very bad negotiation idea. However, if you look at Uks #brexit negotiations it is a textbook example of bad negotiation practice. I have already used it as an example for failed negotiation technique in negotiation class.

Eine Kindesmutter von 3 Kindern wird schwer krank. Der Kindesvater hat bisher 14 tägigen Umgang. Die Kinder werden in Obhut genommen. Das Jugendamt setzt den Umgang zum KV aus. Warum? Unklar.

Ja, es gibt Entfremdung. Und ja, die Gerichte machen da häufig nicht genug gegen. Aber ja, es gibt auch Querulanten, die sich ihr eigenes Grab graben. Wer sich mit jedem anlegt und nur die eigene Sichtweise als valide zulässt muss sich nicht wundern, wenn die Quittung kommt.

Der Landrat sagt, seine Behörde würde gern 8a SGB VIII korrekt vorgehen. Das Familiengericht hätte falsch entschieden. Ok? Schöner Trick, den muss ich mir merken. Gerichtsbeschlüsse sind also nur verbindlich, wenn man sie richtig findet. Wusstest Du das schon @gerechtGericht

Der Mandant spielt jetzt das böse Spiel erstmal mit. Um den Kindern ein schönes Weihnachten zu ermöglichen. Die Kinder wollen übrigens zum Vater. Der will sie auch haben. Der Grund dafür, dass das AG die Kinder nicht zum Vater gab: der nimmt aus medizinischen Gründen Mariuhana.

Das bescheuertste daran: ich habe den Mitarbeiter des JA noch persönlich angerufen und ihn gebeten, ja fast angelegt, dass er sich vorher nochmal anwaltliche beraten lässt. Mir macht es nämlich keinen Spaß Leute zu verfolgen, die zumindest subjektiv für Kinder eintreten.

Mache das JA darauf aufmerksam, dass Gerichtsbeschlüsse in Deutschland auch für Behörden gelten (Überraschung!). Und das das Vorhaben des JA strafbar gem 235 I Nr.2 StGB ist. Findet der Sozialpädagoge des JA nicht. Aha. Häh?

Das Amtsgericht regelt den Umgang. 14 tägig am Wochenende, wie bisher. Das Jugendamt teilt mir 2 Tage später mit, dass die Entscheidung des AG nicht dem Kindeswohl diene und das JA daher den Umgang nicht gewähren würde. Ich so: hah? 🤷🥴🤬

Es gibt eine neue Bedrohungslage. Wir schulden es unseren Soldaten, für deren vernünftige und kampffähige Ausrüstung sorgen. Ja, es gibt ein Problem mit Rechten in der Bundeswehr. Den Zusammenhang mit der an der Bedrohung angepassten Ausrüstung unserer Soldaten gibt es nicht.
