An 11 year old child was kicked in the face for being half-Indian; her sister was attacked for trying to help her. Both had to go to hospital because of their injuries, and both are now anxious about leaving the house.
The police have taken no action against their attackers.

In the video, he said it was a 'routine traffic stop.'
Cops should really remain silent if they don't want their words used against them.

"I don't need to be called ma'am. I just need to not be called sir."
This. There's literally no need to call your customers anything. It's actually really easy:
"Good evening. Table for one? Here's our menu; the specials are on the insert. Can I get you something to drink?"
@anthonyshock
My neighbours cook for me, not because I'm old, but because I try to make myself useful around my neighbourhood & I guess they appreciate me.
It doesn't cost me much to coach a kid in reading or fix someone's internet, but I'm always touched by the care that goes into their food.

@babythedivine
Yes. That's coercive sexual abuse.
It's non-consensual because you said no, but then, because of his disturbing (and likely frightening) behaviour, you felt you had no alternative but to 'give in.'
Sorry he put you through that. My ex did it too.

The cop needs to state what the alleged "something wrong" is at the time of the stop, otherwise it's a stop for nothing, aka harassment.
He clearly just wanted a row, which is why he started bitching about the guy closing his window.

The tenant had to buy their own AC, presumably because the landlord wouldn't replace the ineffective old unit. They removed their own unit when they moved out and put the landlord's crappy unit back.

It's not technically biting when someone shoves their fist in your mouth. But I agree that's probably the excuse the scumbags will use.
@LateefSaka
That's not even the whole of it. The assault charge was for fighting a female police officer who had confiscated his phone with the lewd texts to the 10 yr old on it.
He also had prior convictions for stealing underwear from a washing line and harassing women.

Maybe school needs to be more engaging? 🤷🏽♂️
I have a 9 year old SEN student who we never thought would cope with online classes, yet he's managing to keep up & complete all assigned work.

Guess what? People who've been horrifically abused don't always make the best choices when they're caught in a triggering situation.
It's really easy to judge and cast aspersions when you have no idea how it feels to be in their situation.

My mother had a break-in during a harsh winter a few years back.
They took cardigans, coats, a duvet and her kettle. Left all the 'valuables.'
@FaeJohnstone
This should be treated as an aggravated assault and the school should be pushing for the man and his wife to be prosecuted and penalised to the full extent of the law.
It's totally unacceptable for anyone to be able to get away with abusing a child at any time, anywhere..

"Lawyers for the pupil told the judge at a hearing in January that she was making a "modest" request to be allowed to pray for about five minutes at lunchtime, on dates when faith rules required it, but not during lessons."
All they needed was one classroom. How mean spirited!
@nameshiv
I called ahead to book a table at a local place and an angry voice answered "YES??"
I started to try and book and was told "No! Just come early!"
We did. It was well worth it.
@heycuri
A judge will go with what is least disruptive for the child, so changing schools isn't going to happen.
Also, suggest that school days should only count towards your days with your child if your ex is willing to share pick-up and drop-off duties.
They should ask your kid too.

Because it's obviously a lie. She can't ask him for anything because he's made it perfectly clear that she is now answerable to another man. He doesn't even think of her as a person in her own right.

The customer shouldn't even be able to buy a ticket which is not valid for travel with their Railcard.
Ticket sellers should be liable if they sell the wrong ticket, and if tickets are bought from the machine, there should be an algorithm that prevents selecting the wrong ticket.

Do you think orphans shouldn't have children of their own?
How about those who cut off abusive family members? Should they have to remain childless?
How about people whose parents disapproved of their lifestyle? No kids for them?

Because there's so much disturbing shit going on everywhere else in the world as well, so they have to slather on extra 'evil' and hint at unthinkable conspiracies when they report anything from the country they're currently trying to demonise the most.

Yes. Women fought for recognition as valued members of society.
Now they can choose to study, work, become homemakers, or a combination of all of the above.

The woman he married would never be described as a "p*ki" or a "r*ghead."
It would have been naive of him to think his family would be any less racist than he is.

Sounds like you're in a precarious position with your health. Clearly an inopportune time to be abusing and harassing staff at the medical facility providing your care.
If you find another provider, maybe keep your ugly thoughts to yourself.
@harkshetweets
That's really invasive, particularly if your friend hadn't consented to being photographed or filmed.
I could actually use something like that though, to record what I'm looking at and for, and how frequently I use my mirrors and check blind spots while driving, to teach my son.
@ask_aubry
Massive red flag.
Don't have him in the house anymore and discreetly check in with the child to find out if she's felt uncomfortable around him.
There's no reason for him to be in his adolescent niece's private bathroom, and poking through her bathroom bin is perverse behaviour.

It's a civil offence though, not criminal. And the company presumes that those few men are unlikely to take legal action against them.
However, Angie's thread has been shared many times and will draw a lot of unwanted attention to the bus company's quiet assent of racism.

Meanwhile India has a government mandated midday meal scheme, where all children at government primary and upper primary schools receive a nutritious meal for free.
During the lockdowns sacks of rice, grains, beans and oil were sent to the families of those children.

Those are literally the words of an abusive parent.
"Nobody loves you more than I do. Nobody will ever love you more than I do. Nobody will treat you better than I do. Nobody cares about you as much as I do."
It's classic abuser language, intended to gaslight and isolate.

I always found it odd that my kids learnt about Rosa Parks & the Montgomery bus boycott at primary school, but the Bristol bus boycott was never mentioned.
I guess the English national curriculum likes to pretend that racism and segregation was only "over there"... 😕
In 1963, campaigners started a city-wide bus boycott against Bristol Omnibus Company's policy of not employing black crew.
Its success paved the way for the 1965 Race Relations Act which outlawed discrimination.
These are the kind of heroes we should learn about at school!

Also documented is the fact that those visits came to nothing because of who the parents are.

Best way forward is to file for divorce and take half that new house as well as the whole of the old house, since both houses are marital assets and the child lives with the mother in one of them.
