I was Martos opponent in this round. I don’t think he was cheating or anything of that nature. This feels very blown out of proportion. We were playing a high stakes match, there was a miscommunication alongside a language barrier. Judges heard both of us out and made a ruling.

Ok run at the RC. Ended up losing the win and in to day 2 at 5-4. Deck was good, opponents were mostly pleasant to play against. Had a couple opponents who made it clear they needed the win more than me - v rude / salty. Tournament had too many players. 800 cap would be better.

Just wanna echo this. Ever since talking with the gang at locals not only have I gotten a lot better at the game, I have made some kick ass new friends along the way. People who I’m sure will be in my life long after the card game. TLDR - Go to your locals!!!

My LGS continues to be the most stacked place I've ever played magic other than the PT. Out of all the NRGs, the MTGO leagues, the RCs, and the OCMs, my win rate is still higher than it is at LevelUp Games Minneapolis. I can't buy a positive record here ISTG
