I still remember shopping at TMC in Bangsar, I was still in uni then. The cashier, a Bangladeshi remarked about my sister’s tag. Are you a doctor? He continued to say, I’m a doctor too back home. But there’s no job for me. I went home unable to stop thinking about him that day.

Confession. In Kelate, the only ketupat I’ve ever seen was triangle one, sweet & pulut type. When I first raya in KL & was served those square ketupat nasi I was so fascinated. All these while, I ingat semua tu lampu hiasan & raya card decor. No idea it exist & edible. 😁

Kalau di Kelantan nak cari songket, sila pegi Cik Minah songket. The owner is one of the last that can tenun songket from scratch, using mesin tenun dengan kaki tu. Maybe in Terengganu masih ada but in Kelantan, I think it’s a lost art. Please show support to this dying art.

Most branded baju Melayu go for volume, spent most on marketing, celebrities & has been politicians. Sadly they didn’t take the opportunity to help our local manufacturers and help them grow. It’s so disappointing.

Koyak teruk harini. 7-8 round tunggu turn nak naik lif di KLCC. Punyalah ignorant takda sorang pun bagi laluan. Padahal semua muda2, bawan shopping bag je, bukan stroller atau warga emas. Lama sgt tunggu last last kami mengalah, lipat stroller, dukung anak, turun escalator.
