What I would add also is that #Wales (unlike #Scotland ), never signed a treaty requesting admission to a union with #England . The Act of Union came about between the years of 1536 and 1543 as a result of a series of laws passed in the English Parliament. #indyWales #YesCymru

@Lovethebikini Respectfully, Estonia and Lithuania were member states of the USSR not by choice but force, similar to the relationship between Wales and the UK. Since their independence they’ve become prosperous unlike Wales which has remained in a state of stagnation. Independence works!

Abaty Glyn y Groes (aka Valle Crucis Abbey) was founded by prince Madog ap Gruffudd in January 1201. A spiritual centre of the region the Abby is believed to be involved in the Welsh Wars of independence against Edward 1st of England during the 13th century. #indyWales #Wales

@iancrichton4 #indyWales can fund itself through various avenues including taxation, natural resource management, trade, tourism, foreign investment, debt financing, and sovereign wealth funds. Diversifying revenue streams and prudent financial management are key. Just like any other country.
