Dumbest thing I ever did was climb a 30ft A-frame ladder connected by *mended* nylon ropes. I did this above a tile covered concrete floor, while holding an unwieldy movie banner. I think leaned *off the ladder* to reach the hookup lines. Yeah. 21yo me was immortal doncha know

Dumbest thing ever done for work was a big server rack was being delivered “without knowing” we didn’t have a dock so they put the 900lbs thing on the lift gate and I for a moment stood there trying to hold it still before I realized it would absolutely crush me. They got it down
