Are people seriously, I mean seriously, taking LFTs before they go out of their houses for the day? And worse, doing the same thing when they get home? What sort of mindset have we ingrained into people?

I’ve tuned out of BBC news, Sky news and ITN. Occasionally dip into Ch4. Wish I hadn’t tonight. Seriously, the level of fear being ramped up by some of the stories tonight is shameful. If MSM if your only source of info, no wonder people are frightened. Truly awful stuff.

So, should I just *move on from *Covid** as some people would have me do? Do I just write off the loss of my relationship with my oldest son, the decimation of my decades old business & a core of *pals* who have made me a leper socially? Just put it behind me as *part of life*?

Masks. A short thread. In June last year my GP advised me that wearing a mask even for a short space of time would be harmful for me on two fronts. One - I have painful rosacea on my face. It’s a horrible condition and it’s lifelong. I can at times look scary!

As I walk along the (quiet) roads I'm pondering why some people have not been at all fooled by the shenanigans of the last 3-years. Why have erstwhile so many clever people been taken in? I know for my part that I can't be hypnotised; is this a factor, I'm wondering?

Reading a lot of hate for the Wetherspoons bloke Tim Martin on this platform today. Why? I like a Spoons pub. Unpretentious and in today’s rip off world, they are excellent value. I’m in the Henry Bell in Helensburgh & it’s refreshingly busy with a lunch crowd. Snobbery abounds.
