It’s fair to say that a clear majority of travellers at Wigan North Western are not wearing masks and some of the mask wearers are just protecting their chins. People have an abundance of information and are making their own decisions which is good.

Why care homes but not the NHS when the system must see the same risks in both? It’s a wedge approach to establish the principle before widening scope just like Covid-19 passports for nightclubs. Weak vs strong union voice. A doctor resigning would cut through in the media.

The NHS leaders I’ve spoken to reject the idea of compulsory vaccination for hospital doctors, consultants and nurses but ppl are happy to compel care home staff. The ethics are of compulsion are inconsistent and wrong.
