For balance, this is terrible as well. Satire is supposed to exaggerate reality and Anas Sarwar doesn’t go on and on about being a dentist. He just doesn’t. It’s like someone who hasn’t followed Scottish politics at all was given a very quick briefing on it.

This is not a fair description of the SNP position which was to make future funding contingent on EL paying real living wage. That is not the same as being a serious proposal to withdraw all future EL funding. Not at all.

Today, Edinburgh Council’s SNP group put forward a serious proposal to withdraw ALL future Edinburgh Leisure funding. It would have meant - 🏊‍♀️ swimming pools closed 🎾 sports halls shut ⚽️ sports clubs cancelled We must never ever let this group run the council.

I am absolutely with the Rainbow Greens here. The SNP should not be embracing the likes of Brian Souter. His vision of independence is not one that a progressive force for independence could ever share.

On Monday the 12th of August (next week) the Scottish NHS will stop self-referrals to the NHS Gender Identity Clinics. You will need to be referred by a GP or by a mental health service. This is what we have in England and Wales Self-refer this week if you can and need

Looking at the achievements of those politicians criticising Lorna Slater for taking 2 days off out of 14 I feel sorry for them - it must be exhausting working 12 hours a day, 14 days straight to achieve nothing.

Whoever the new FM is if they choose not to challenge Westminster on the section 35 that means the Scottish Greens would be the only party that supports Scottish independence and can say it stood up for Holyrood’s independence. That prospect should frighten the SNP a lot.
