If you're going to replace an attraction, you should make it better. While still good #TianasBayouAdventure is not as great as splash mountain was. A start of a thread 🧵 Note I am judging this purely off of comparing the ride experiences nothing else.

Velocicoaster goes backwards! While error free it wont, if there's an issue that stops the train from proceeding to the block section after the top hat it will stop at the launch. To resume it needs to launch backwards and then forwards to get enough speed. Video by: Dennis Smith

This should have been the replacement for splash mountain at Disney World. They could still have Tiana's bayou adventure but only at Disneyland. Giving both coasts more variety and better theming that fits the land.

@wallin_ballin This change is a step in the right direction but Disney and Themeparks in general need to go back to the simple days. Its way to confusing, complex, and stressful. Including for hardcore fans who aren't just average day guests. A vacation should be relaxing

The ride vehicle for Monsters Unchained: The Frankenstein Experiment at Dark Universe look to be the ones previously patented! These will improve on the previous version by expanding your view and potentially more surprises! An amazing feature that is just one of many in the ride

@chazfinder I don't even mind the screen as much but rather that they turned the iconic scene and build up into an experience with no build up and a terrible story plot

@UniNewsToday While unfortunate I get having some attractions opening latter. But not being able to walk around in those areas until that time plus the other recent entertainment cuts to save money is just a slap in the face

@WDWNT While not ideal it’s sort of nice. You can always reride it with everything working but rarely see it in this state
