This might be my new favorite video!
Fievel, Curious George, Woody Woodpecker and Crash Bandicoot dancing to 70s pop songs in front of Back to the Future: The Ride at Universal Studios Hollywood in 2007

The man controlling R2-D2 from his pockets in Galaxy’s Edge blends in with guests a lot better than the guys dressed in all black controlling Mario and Luigi from iPads in Super Nintendo World
Kinda crazy that The Simpsons Ride has been operating in the Back to the Future show building longer than the actual Back to the Future The Ride ever did…

If anyone has any photos or videos of inside the maze, know it’s extremely rare. The Chicken Run Maze and the exterior queue for E.T. Adventure in Hollywood are my two white whales!

Look at how much faster and smoother the Parasaurolophus animatronic moved back in the day vs. what we have now…

It used to be so menacing!

Universal has these “Here Back Then” signs up around the park which, when you scan the barcode, takes you to a YouTube video about what used to be at that location in the park! Pretty cool!

This ride queue video clip from Back to the Future: The Ride really sums up why waiting in line for The Simpsons Ride feels so eerie and not very cartoon-ish.
The building was literally designed as a dull corporate science institute

In the original Jurassic Park ride, the boat is “supposed” to travel into Hadrosaur Cove but gets knocked off course which unexpectedly sends you into Predator Cove. This aspect of the story was left out for the Jurassic World update in 2018

You can see where they filmed this scene from Indiana Jones 4 from two different angles on the Studio Tour at Universal Studios Hollywood 🎬
Actors would be walking towards the Amity Island sign in this shot

I always loved the Disney ears on Jurassic Park: The Ride
@UniStudios
. I remember thinking as a child, “Oh, this isn’t some Disney ride, this is serious…” lol
For a brief time on the Studio Tour in 1983, Universal guests could see Elliot and his friends from ‘E.T.’ (1982) flying on their bikes between trees above Elm Street

I know everyone is getting jazzed about the 60th anniversary of the Studio Tour so I thought I would share this old photo my mom took. Behold the “Red Sea Gorilla.” This was really a thing back in the early 70’s. A gorilla swinging on a vine holding a severed human arm!
