P.S. The word “Kemis” is also written as “Chemis” in historical sources. Pedro Paez (1620) mentions the Chemis and his description of the attire fits that of a typical Habesha Kemis. Meanwhile, the Sadacha Oromo didn’t reach Ennarea (Jimma) until it’s fall, to the Oromo, in 1710.
