This time four weeks ago I was in the early stages of a nine hour operation to remove this tumour from my upper left arm.
I’m delighted to report that the surgery has been deemed a complete success!
Being diagnosed with cancer at 35 is very scary, but it is also life-affirming.

Fun fact: William Low considered running as a candidate for the Liberal Party in the 1908 Dundee by-election.
Low eventually decided against standing after it emerged a young Winston Churchill wanted the nomination, which he won unopposed.
The vast majority of my humerus, from elbow to shoulder, was replaced with this titanium implant.
Pleased to report it’s also working well - and in time with the help of physio should be almost as good as new!
