Yes obviously you’re supposed to grieve Claudia and feel that her parents failed her. They did. But if your analysis ends at “woman die bad” I just don’t know what to say. Claudia didn’t die as a narrative function to give the men depth—the story is ABOUT loss.

Show!Armand’s memory manipulation as of S2 is shown to rely largely on existing psychology. Putting Daniel on more drugs & dropping him off in a drug den to where he remembers what happened for the most part, but not the piece that puts it all together.

Am I weak to you? Our Louis balances many archetypes, and something unique to our Louis is his pride/vanity. He’s able to assert that aspect of himself with Armand bc the gulf of pure power between them is so vast, and Armand’s own paranoia causes him to overcorrect w/ Louis.
