🧵Monday Morning Lorcana! 3 stories from SCG Philly. Without a doubt the most impressive feat to date in Lorcana is Rob Serpe winning a 110 person 1k, Getting 2nd in a 175 person 5k, and getting top 8 in the 63 player 5k in the same weekend.
Here are the 3 decklists I will be starting Ranked with tomorrow! Excited to see how the meta lands. First up is the one I've felt is the strongest and most consistent, Mufasa!
Guys we’re not even 2 weeks in to set 4 meta. I know 🔵🔴 looks really strong but give it some time. So far Lorcana has provided really good options to answer top tier decks.
Going to another Set Champs this morning! Rounds start in 30 minutes. Going with a deck I that just got me to 1500 on the hardcore ranked ladder. Lets get those Stitch Riches.
We're less than 48 hours away from the Cerberus Den 2k+ this Sunday in the Cincinnati, OH area! Only 15 more players to make this a 3k! We've also revamped the stream layout and I'll be doing live commentary on matches. Hope you see you Sunday!
I got 2nd today at my local 1k! There was 23 participants at my local shop, Cerberus Den in Cincinnati, OH. Props to the shop for guaranteeing pricing regardless of turn out. They took a big L today but are doing a lot to grow the game. Decklist and tourney report in the thread.
My LGS has been working hard at making an environment to grow competitive players. The growth has been amazing! We love the community we’re building. Meeting and talking to everyone was a blast. Can’t wait to see everyone in ATL.
@SCGCON
I got 3rd overall in

's Sunday 1k Lorcana with Amber Ruby Mufasa Mufasa Mufasa and split top 8! Finished Swiss 5-1! Only dropping a match to 1st place.
It’s rare that a meta this long after release is this diverse. I have a feeling this is as good as it gets and we will look back at Inklands as the Golden Years of Lorcana.
This is the first season that I've took climbing the Pixelborn ladder seriously. Getting master feels like an accomplishment. However, I feel too many people rely solely on ladder for testing for tournaments. That's just step 1.
I’m starting a new job soon that’s going to take away a lot of my free time. As a result I’ve chosen to have some fun with set championship. I’m playing in 6 events and will be playing 6 different decks. My goal is at least 3 stitches! Wish me luck!

Got back from Vegas on Friday. Played in a small 34 person case tournament at No Limit Gaming in Dayton OH today and got 2nd with Sky’s top 16 list from the last Thea event. Only match loss all day was in the finals. Deck felt good and I’m still learning a lot.
Somehow people took my last tweet as “Ravensburger should cater to the rich” which could not be further from the truth. Having a challenge that early allows for less formation of a meta and would reward players for doing a ton of research and getting to the strongest 60.
There was a 2k an hour away from me Saturday that I forgot about and because it wasn’t advertised well it only got 9 players. They hosted one in set one that was broadcasted better and got close to 60. It shouldn’t be this hard to find events.
People will always find a way to complain about something. I'm excited that there are viable combo decks in Lorcana now. Adds an extra dimension to gameplay.

Here is the list I played today and went 6-3 (~22nd place) in the LPN 1.3k freeroll. Was super fun, but not enough high roll opportunities off of Mufasa. Tiana was MVP like Kobe all day!
I got 1st overall and split top 4 With
@ActualNoimnot
’s Ruby Amethyst! Deck felt really good into multiple mirror matches and Amethyst Steel. Finished Swiss 5-0-2! Over the moon right now!
Can’t wait to see the full breakdown of the decks that entered yesterday’s 10k. It was a wide open meta from what I and others experienced. A lot less sapphire dominated than I expected.
About to go to my fourth and final challenge in a few hours. So far 2 for 3. Unfortunately I didn’t get to play test as much as I would have liked with other decks so I’ll be playing old faithful. Let’s get it!
Spoiler to the Meta Report… 🟣🔴 is still really good. A Version of this list give or take a card or 2 here or there was in every Top 8. We modified the deck each day 2-3 card. And finished in the finals in every event. (Rob is an animal) 1st,2nd,2nd and George 1st

As someone that has been a life long competitive game player this weekend was amazing. I will cherish this feeling forever. Thanks to all those who reached out with kind words and advice. Excited to see you all hopefully in person in the future.
Won our top 8 match vs Ruby Sapphire 2-1. Had to beat the best kid in the whole region. Really exciting to have top players in the area at such a young age! Stitch Unlocked!
Current state of life

Round 2: 2-0 vs Amethyst/Ruby Control
Round 3: 2-1 vs Amber/Ruby BDecandio Mufasa

I have a feeling we’re going to see a few DQs at ATL for people trying to work around the ID rules. Ravensburger clearly wants people playing no matter what your situation is, any attempt to skirt that would be a DQ in my opinion. This coming from someone who always IDs. 😑
Went against a juggernaut Round 1 in
@zachbivens1
and was fortunate enough to have the right meta call and a really good draw in game 2 to take the W. GGs man!
@BradenMTG
I exported this deck in to pixelborn and immediately queue into Decandio first game :D on ladder playing amber steel. 5 games in, seems to have a really good match up against a lot of decks but can struggle amber steel.
🧵Monday Morning Lorcana: 4 top decks from this past weekend and one really spicy one. Here is
@BDecandio7
's Amber Steel list that took

's tournament by storm. If you're jonesing for the days of old with a little new hotness this is it.

‘s 1.6k online event today. Sick games, every round a nail biter (go watch). Set 3 definitely gave the game a shake up. Cant wait for the next!
Ravensburger continues to cater to casual competitive players by making a new rule for set legality exempting Challenges from their own rules 🤦🏻♂️ you can’t make this up
I understand the intent of 2 game rounds to make every game matter but I think this system mitigates skill advantage and will make it harder for top players to rise to the top consistently.
Pawpsicle is back baby! The archetype is alive and well!
@D_cleve
had an amazing performance this weekend getting 2nd in Friday 1k and Top 8ing the Saturday 5k with a list that he credits
@Savjz
with inspiring.
@PavelKolev7
I think we need to build another TCG app, with the main focus on making it easy to find local events. It’s a web of Facebook/Twitter/Discord monitoring just to try and find events. It shouldn’t be this hard!
I got Top 8 at the German 101 person set3 tournament today
@BattleBearTCG
List felt and played super smooth!
Played really solid, only small decisions I could have played differently in retrospect
Congratulations to all the competitors from this weekend! I'm looking forward to seeing everyone
@CCS_Atlanta
's 8k this weekend which currently has 164 players registered. It's shaping up to be the biggest event in North America! If you see me come say hi!
I got 2nd in the Cerberus Den Set Championship playing Green Steel Bucky Discard! 4 buckies couldn’t beat 4 Pawpsicles! Was a great day! We’re now 2 for 3!
#SetChampChallenge
Super out of practice and don't feel like I have a good grip on the meta atm but I can't not play in the tournament knowing its almost 300 players. Should be a good test of the 2GF. GL everyone.
Was in a room with 40 other people when the
@_proplaygames
Lorcana Challenger tickets went live. 3 people were successful. Pretty disgusting

You taught him a valuable lesson. Some people think it is unkind to enforce the rules, and it might feel so in that moment but it will make them a better player in the long run.
