This figure is a retrospective piece completed back in 1998. It is a 1/35 scale plastic stock figure from Dragon Models with some minor enhancements like the face, hands and equipment details.
Graves Registration - US 2nd Armoured Division, ETO 1944. Special Thanks to Kim Hyun-Jin for fabricating the muzzle brake and Hiroyuki Takeuchi for the beautiful burr wood base.
The Medal Hunter. This Alpine figure (35009) is a shelf queen from possibly 2006. It sat in cold storage until this morning, when I decided to pull it out and replace the original Alpine head with the spare head from 35303 WW2 US Infantry NCO.

A mixture of AK 11115 Wood Base Light and AK11436 Canvas Tone. AK11027 Rubber Black for shadows. I highly recommend AK11763 Adam Wilder's Personal Mixes for US WW2 and Modern Colours.

That is a good question. My advice is to write a letter to yourself asking what is stopping you from taking the plunge. List down all the fears and risks. Next, ask if you have the means or resources to overcome them.
