Started trading right after college(2017) with a capital of 1.38L, though I added more later I had to pay it back. Coming from a very normal middle class family, it's a big achievement for me to be worth in eight figures, neither took training nor attended any. Twitter helped

If I had waited for 2 years of salary for backup before getting into full-time trading, I would have never started trading in the first place. Almost everything is an opinion in this profession except the PnL. If you're going to risk it, today is as good as any.

In 2017 I was doing one lot max in any trade. Dreamt about doing 100 lots on one distant day. In 2022, 100 lots look small sometimes. Dreams come true, doesn't mean you become content with it, rather the journey from 1 lot 100 is more enjoyable and interesting. Love the process.

Trading is simple, not easy. Technical analysis will not make money, execution discipline almost always will. Returns doesn't matter. Strive for confidence, that you can make money from markets. Its slow. Making money is secondary to the freedom successful trading gives.
